Best affordable smart phone?

Im looking for a cell phone that will be affordable, like, $200 at max, preferably an android, with a good camera, any suggestions? i can go a little higher on the price

Tough one, there are THOUSANDS of smartphones out there, and really although some stand out better than the others its really mostly personal preference. If i was you I,d look into the MOTO G (which is a bit dated now but check the rating on some of the newer ones like the MOTO E.

The Moto G 2015 can take SD cards up to 32GB.

If you're not married to Android the Windows Lumia phones in the 500 and 600 series are also good low end phones with good quality and even more SD storage space.

it basically boils down to apps. Android has more and newer ones. The Windows app store is basically 2nd tier. So if there is some app you absolutely must have check to see if its in the Windows store first.

Otherwise they do the same thing, though Windows Phone OS is somewhat more efficient than Android so it can use lower hardware specs and still achieve the same kind of usability results.

Oh one nice thing is if you plug a windows phone into a PC it will show up as a separate device in file explorer and you can just drag and drop whatever you want into it. Don't have to mess with an iTunes like interface to get stuff on it.
