All due respect, AGP slot graphics cards are hardly used anymore. So, I'll highly recommend against it.

As for your question, one of the best GPU which you can get and is still compatible with AGP is AMD Radeon's HD4670. One step lower will be the Radeon HD4650. AMD stops support for AGP after this and Nvidia stopped at the Geforce 6200. Both the 4670 and 4650 are decent cards (albeit pricey) which should be held back quite a little by your processor.
I hope this helps. ;)

Splendid

I remember when i had this same issue a couple of years ago i just gave up and got a new PC. But if you don't want to a 4650 is still a great(ok) card.

That's the best you can get!

you could consider the AMD x1950xt AGP if you're looking for something older that would probably sell cheap used. I'm pretty sure that even this card would be bottlenecked by your processor.

The best AGP card is probably HD3870 AGP version.
That card required 4pin power connector from PSU. If you can manage find it then it's good. If you want to run a long run then I suggest to sell your PC and BUILD your next gaming PC... :)
