All the hyper212 series perform roughly the same. The new RGB Black is the best of the bunch, and has an upgraded mounting system.

Beaten regularly by the Gammax 300/400, Raijintek Aidos (92mm fan), Cryorig H7/M9 series (92mm fan) etc, etc, etc. The hyper212 is actually pretty mediocre nowadays, it's only claim to fame was ok performance for $25 when everyone else decent was $30-$50.
CPU Cooler: be quiet! - Shadow Rock 2 51.4 CFM Rifle Bearing CPU Cooler ($40.99 @ SuperBiiz)
CPU Cooler: RAIJINTEK - AIDOS BLACK 48.6 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($24.88 @ SuperBiiz)
CPU Cooler: RAIJINTEK - THEMIS 65.68 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($18.99 @ SuperBiiz)
CPU Cooler: Deepcool - GAMMAXX 400 74.34 CFM CPU Cooler ($24.89 @ OutletPC)
CPU Cooler: Deepcool - LUCIFER 81.33 CFM CPU Cooler ($48.40 @ Newegg)
CPU Cooler: Phanteks - PH-TC14S_BK 68.09 CFM CPU Cooler ($39.99 @ Newegg)
CPU Cooler: be quiet! - Pure Rock 51.7 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($35.89 @ OutletPC)
CPU Cooler: Thermaltake - Frio Silent 12 55.88 CFM CPU Cooler ($34.89 @ OutletPC)
CPU Cooler: Thermaltake - Frio Silent 14 71.23 CFM CPU Cooler ($36.88 @ OutletPC)
CPU Cooler: Deepcool - LUCIFER K2 81.33 CFM CPU Cooler ($45.99 @ SuperBiiz)
CPU Cooler: CRYORIG - M9i 48.4 CFM CPU Cooler ($38.83 @ OutletPC)
CPU Cooler: Thermalright - Macho Direct 73.6 CFM CPU Cooler ($42.99 @ Amazon)
CPU Cooler: Deepcool - LUCIFER V2 81.33 CFM CPU Cooler ($34.99 @ Amazon)
CPU Cooler: Deepcool - GAMMAXX GT 29.5 CFM CPU Cooler ($39.99 @ SuperBiiz)
CPU Cooler: Scythe - FUMA Rev.B 79 CFM CPU Cooler ($46.99 @ Amazon)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master - Hyper 212 RGB Black Edition 57.3 CFM CPU Cooler ($36.89 @ OutletPC)

Equal at least, or better (I some cases far better) than the average hyper212. Depends a lot on your current case and cooler height clearance. Ranges from @ 130mm to 160mm. Price is not an indicator of performance, the Scythe Fuma can handle OC i7-8700k without issue, as can the Lucifers.
