[SOLVED] Best airflow setup

Solution
This also has a lot to do with the pc case with regards to airflow. More fans is not always better.

The NZXT case in my avatar has the 120mm radiator at the rear and a 140mm on top. That's it. When idle and web surfing you can't hear it at all. My gpu maxes out at 52C running Furmark and the cpu at 72C with CineBench 20.

Do you have heating issues with your pc or just blinging it up with more fans?
Based on the fans you have it seems like you are setup to have the 1300s on top the 1200s on the front and the 1000 on the back. So that everything matches.

I don't think that's the best setup though. I would put 1300s on the front and 1000s on the top and back. I am assuming that the 1300s are the highest flow. More RPMs don't necessarily make the fans better.

I would also seriously consider a fan controller. You want most of the fans to push air in from the front and bottom of the case. This is generally where the freshest air is available. Then to exhaust air from the top and back to take advantage of the way heat naturally rises. You also want your strongest fans pushing most of the volume of air INTO the case. This prevents a mild vacuum from forming and dust sucking in through any grates or openings. You want to control where dust is coming into your case. Preferably you want it to be stopped by a filter.
