Where are you located? What is your budget? What is your preferred site for purchase? Include the make and model of your case in the event that you're working with an SFF build.

7800X3D, B650 with decent VRMs. B850 as well if reasonably priced. Some X670 boards might be similarly priced, always worth a look.

But it really depends on the motherboard features you want, and size for that matter. If it is just a basic build and you are only plugging in a GPU and an NVMe SSD or 2 90% of the boards on the market will work.

You can spend 400 extra bucks on a motherboard thinking you have the best when the lower priced one will do the exact same thing and should last just as long.
