My best answer in the "Storage" forum has been up for the last three days as the last best answer. There have been a few others since than but mine seems to be stuck on the screen...




Also, I'm unable to select a best answer for this thread. I click on the button but it doesn't do anything just goes through the normal process but doesn't actually select the best answer.

Are you sure the other best answers you have seen posted weren't older then yours. I have noticed that it goes by the post date and time as to whose got the best answer in the side column. so even if a best answer was selected on a thread after yours if the post date and time on the best answer selected is older your best answer will stay.

The post that was selected as best answer in that thread, was posted 2 months ago. It goes by the post date, not the date which the best answer was selected.

I understand now... SAAIELLO and you mean the post date of the actual thread (1st post) not the post date of the "best answer" by the OP... Makes sense now

I believe it goes by the date of the best answer post, not by the thread date.

I'll have to look at this thread when I get home. I'm at work, and it's being flagged as porn by our amazing filter.

I'm not sure why you can't. Do you get an error? Or do you not see the option to select best answer?

I see it with my account. If you want me to select the best answer, just let me know.

I see the button, click on it and get the message confirming the best answer and when I click okay, it doesn't provide the best answer...

If you want, select MadAdmirals first post as the best answer, since I can't seem to get it to work

Looking into this. It may be related to the issue in another thread concerning Best Answer functionality.

There was an issue with special characters in the title of the post. Should be rectified now.
