Question Best app to change your mobile phone location ?

I want a couple of apps to think I am several miles south in a major city center vs my suburb, ideally I would love it if google maps would still recognize where I actually am but I imagine if its one its all.
Would a regular VPN be able to do this? Looking at NordVPN but its $50 for a year and I am not even sure this will work yet.
Any recommendations?
