Solution

"Best" is subjective from my perspective Sound quality outweighs the loss of perks and controls, you may find that different.

Superlux HD 668B/HD681 with a Mod Mic "Not the most comfortable but excellent sound quality with no inline control"
Audio-Technica MX40 + Mod Mic "More comfort than the Superlux but cost twice as much"

Less sound quality but gives you the "Perks" in Features, Inline controls and software apps.

SteelSeries Arctis 7 "Wireless"
HyperX Cloud Revolver " A step up from Cloud II"
HyperX Cloud II "Build quality, comfort and inline controls outweigh the mediocre Soundstage and inconsistent Treble"
Corsair HS60...
Someone suggested me the Audio-Technica MX40 and MX50. Mic is separate or bundled with. My first impression when gaming with the MX50 (after using some $55 Turtle Beach headphones for 2 years) is that it was like sitting in the movie theater with surround sound turned all the way up. Very nice.

Just look at the customer reviews compared to others.. look how many there are. https://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-ATH-M50x-Professional-Monitor-Headphones/dp/B00HVLUR86/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1545197497&sr=8-1&keywords=audio+technica+mx50

This is what I bought, but I honestly haven't hooked up the mic yet. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CUVFSM6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The person recommending them said they've had theirs for several years. My Turtle Beach headphones broke after less than 2 years of normal use. Do feel free to wait for more answers and suggestions and/or do your own research. The worst part about the MX50 I have is the cord/wire. I wish they were wireless because the cord is always in the way. :/

Nice thanks ill check them

For FPS games you want a good Soundstage.

Leaving out Comfort, Features, Noise isolation, Build Quality, Latency, Connectivity, Microphone Quality and just focusing on sound quality.

Soundstage- Determines the space and environment of sound. That is, it determines the perceived location and size of the sound field itself, so how well you can perceive foot steps and shots fired.

Imaging- Determines where, how far, and how wide each object should be in the stereo image. That is, it controls the location, transparency, and stereo balance of objects in the mix, as intended by the audio source.

Frequency Response Consistency- Describes the variations in a headphones' frequency response due to their fit on your head. Headphones will sound slightly different depending on the size and shape of your head, how they interact with your ears and whether you wear glasses.

Total Harmonic Distortion- Harmonic distortion is an unintended generated frequency from other than the original source.

Rating from 1-10.. 10 being best.
