[SOLVED] Best bandwidth option in student house?

We have a student house and have put smart TVs in each of the 5 bedrooms plus another in the Lounge. All are hard wired. We have students who seen to be gaming and streaming all day and we have Virgin 350 broadband only but there other lesser Virgin options Mbps,200 , 100 and 50. Are we over supplied with 350? But need to assume they are all streaming and gaming at once.

Best would be to actually monitor your usage since you may have traffic you do not really know about.

Most video services like netflix are not that much bandwidth. Maybe if you use 4k video but there is not a lot of content. Even then 5 4k video streams would not be enough to have much impact on your current connection.

Playing online game uses almost no bandwidth. Maybe 1mbps in most cases. The tricky part with games is downloading them and downloading patches. Most the download managers can use 100% of pretty much any internet connection. You can either get a agreement to set limits on the download rates or you can just accept that it might cause a issues when these download occur. The faster your connection the...
