I disagree, for that price i can get a decent dual core cheap mobo and mem with ssd. its not the best but it is possible .a 64gb ssd will run around 70 to 80 bucks on a sale and everything else might add up to around 250 to 300 but it is possible.no disrespect but ive been looking around I just wanted some opions to see if my picks were ok.

Thankyou thats the same ssd I was looking at, I just wasnt sure what processor to go for that would cover his needs.Hes going from a single core 2200+ so anything would be a decent jump and this even leaves me room for more.what would be the best upgrade from this cpu?Id Like to at least get him a dual core, I was looking at the intel g850? what do you think?

since i do not have an SSD i go by what is recommended:
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/ssd-review-benchmark,3139-2.html
Best SSD for ~$80: Boot Drive Crucial m4

i udated my post with a better cpu the Pentium G850 which would make a world of difference, esp in the all important "load times" :)

he'll  it!

EDIT: thanks!
