There aren't too many displays you can find for $130-$140 USD or less that are sized 21-inches or greater with a 1920 x 1080 resolution, come from a major and well-respected hardware vendor, utilize an LED-backlight panel, and offer HDMI video input. The VE228H monitor was well packaged just like any ASUS product i have tested. The LED-backlit monitor was encased between two large Styrofoam molds. Included with the 21.5-inch monitor was the detachable stand, ASUS user's manual, audio cable, DVI-D cable, VGA D-Sub cable, and a US power cable. About the only other thing you may need for the monitor is an HDMI cable, which monitor manufacturers tend to not include at this point. I only know a few good ones not in OP budget though only Samsung B150 Series which tends to be a hit and miss not very good for OP to risk.

Ive been looking and i think i will go with the ASUS VH232. It seems like a solid monitor affordable price awesome contrast ratio. Thanks for the suggestions.
