The RAM of the $500 system might be on the slow side for Ryzen. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/rFLT8Y is a better choice in my opinion. PSU I'd say just as good but cheaper. The RAM is faster. As for the rest of the systems, they are about perfect.

Also, if the $300 guy can afford $36 over their budget, they'd be so much better off with a Ryzen 5 2400g as opposed to the Ryzen 3 2200g. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/K3J93b. The only difference between this and Finstar's $300 build is the CPU.

a heads up for Finstar and ConanLock. the S12II and the M12II that end in 00W or 50W are NOT SEASIONIC MADE and are crap.
please change to a better quality unit. this is a new development and we should stop suggesting these units.

the x12II units that are seasonic all end with 20W, the 520W and 620W units are seasonics and safe to use.
