I have been lurking on the threads for a while, and although the topic has come up different times, I wanted to ask as I am almost ready to pull the trigger on my first gaming PC.

I have done research and of course everyone has their opinions and I've found them from early 2000's on to mid 2000's.

So I want to buy from the company that makes the best gaming PC's, for price, quality, and warranty.

I had an Alienware, back around 2006, and I built that and it was the worst computer I owned and I vowed never to play PC games again.

However, with some of these recent titles, Thief, RedDead 2, Battlefield 1, I feel I may be missing the hype!

So out of everyones expert opinions, as I am no expert, I would appreciate your feedback on whom makes the best Gaming PC's in the market in 2017?

Thank you!

The largest problem is that the reasons you didn't like your Alienware are going to be the same for most of the giant boutique-like builders. It's a problem of the whole category, not simply one company.
The person with the most vested interest in you having a top performing, economical rig is you. After that, I'd find a local shop that offers assembly of parts you bring them as a service. And with a gun to my head and forced to use an online company to build a PC -- a very odd scenario naturally -- I'd go with Falcon Northwest or Xotic.

I never heard of those two....

I live in montana and I don't want it to look like a piece of wood with parts drilled into it. I haven't seen many, and my friends that are good at building PC' they don't look appealing,

They both have impressive work! I'm on their site now! What are your suggestions if the aforementioned aren't great what of these two would you be more willing to take a gun to the head to?

Falcon NW.

You can build a neat looking one yourself though, really, and use the savings for better parts. Tom's has a gallery of user-build PCs.
