These seem pretty far from a good deal. I get the gimmick but they chose models that aren't flagship-worthy. Asus ROG STRIX 15 Ryzen 9 with a 3070? Yeah that's the model that should be getting a price reduction. Ah well at least they are going through the motions.
The Wallmart Black Friday options seem to have some deals at least as good as here. For instance ASUS - ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition 15.6" FHD Gaming Laptop - AMD Ryzen 9-5900HX - 16GB Memory - Radeon RX 6800M - 512GB SSD
Going for 1649.99 MSI - Delta 15.6" FHD 240hz Gaming Laptop - Ryzen R7-5800 - Radeon RX6700M - 1TB SSD - 16GB Memory - Black
Going for 1299.99 when it was 1599.99
Or on the lower side the MSI - GF65 15.6" 144hz Gaming Laptop - Intel Core i5 - NVIDIA GeForce RTX3060 - 512GB SSD - 8GB Memory - Black
Going for 849.99 down from 1099.99
B&H has some discounts as well, and don't forget if you pay with their store card, you get an additional instant rebate for the sales tax. Of particular note is the Gigabyte Aero 15 and Razer Blade Stealth 13 because of their OLED screens.
C'mon! The Dell G15 'packs 8gbs of DDR....' This is not a selling point. Don't rip off unsuspecting users, who might fall for a 'packed' laptop. When in reality, 8gbs of ram completely hobbles a gaming laptop right out of the box. At least make some effort to represent the value, and stop bowing to the PR crap that's provided from the likes of Dell pawning these machines off as powerhouses.
