Best budget cpu for arma 3

As many of you know arma 3 is cpu intensive for their life mods and i was going to originally go with a fx-8320 but i know i wouldnt do good on performance. I was wondering what other processor for under 180 would be good for arma(Intel preferably)(Also looking for at least 30fps in A3L)

Arma III is not well threaded and thus runs horribly on AMD CPUs. Note that all of the Intel CPUs compared below are 5 years old or older.

The best cheap CPU would be the i3 6100. You could cheap out a bit further and go with a Pentium, but it will have trouble in other games. An i5 6600K + overclocking would be a bit better than the i3, but a lot more expensive.

Thank you so much for the reply i might go with one now but i was researching and found out that arma is working on the same engine as dayz which is gpu intensive so i might wait a few months for that and get a amd for the budget

Arma is much more CPU intensive than GPU. You need both, really, but I'd get a faster CPU first.
