Best budget CPU to pair with RX 580

I recently picked up an RX 580 as a first step towards upgrading my gaming PC. My current build's performance (and I'm assuming with the 580 as well) is mostly satisfactory so I'm not in any hurry, but as I get more disposable money to put aside towards this I'd like to better futureproof my rig. My CPU was already a budget purchase, but now with the 580 I'm worried about any significant bottlenecking.

I've had my GTX 960 for nearly 4 years so I felt like it was due for a replacement as well. With Newegg's most recent deal on the RX 580 (with 2 free games I was already planning on getting at release) it felt too good to pass up.

What I'm looking for are a few different build options of CPUs (and if necessary respective boards) on a budget of $100~$200.

Current Build:
GPU: GTX 960 2GB (RX 580 8GB)
CPU: FX-4130 3.8 GHz Quad Core
Motherboard: MSI 970A-G43
RAM: 16GB DDR3 2133

Unfortunately you are going to need a new board, cpu and ram. The FX platform is just too far out of date. The 580 is a good purchase.

I would look probably at the following

Ryzen 2600/2600x or better
B450 series motherboard
At least 8gb of ddr4. 16 would be better. You will want to try to get at least 3000mhz ram if you can get it.

First order of business, sell the gtx 960. You can probably get 50 or 60 to help the budget.

Actually found this cpu. This would get you started. It's last generation now, but it would get you on the current platform and the price is right...

Try to get the ram and board above, and that should help you. As you go, I would try to sell your old parts on eBay, they should have a little value used. Looks like 960 2gb cards are going for about 60 on eBay.

Very informative, thanks for going the extra mile and even checking Ebay. I'll definitely look into these.
