I currently have the core i7 4790 3.6 processor on the original dell xps 8700 motherboard. I currently have the gigabyte Nvidia GeForce 210 gpu and it isn’t working well at all. Looking for a decent gpu for about 100$. The games Id like to play on it are dayz, rust, and simpler games such as csgo.

When viewing the above video, keep in mind that there are now 2 very different rx560s. The original one (used in the above video) and a slower one. The 1050 beats the faster rx560 in many games and the new slower one in everything. If you can save up another $50, the GTX 1050 TI 4gb is really a good all around gaming card.
I used to have the Gtx 710 and i would get about 50 fps with everything on low in CSGO (its only $70) but it has no fan, so make sure it stays under 90c, but if you have the extra $100 to spend then i seriously recommend the Gtx 1050ti OC, smashes any game on medium with 60 fps. Hope this helps :)

Your power supply has a lot to do with it. That 210 uses about 30W, which means a GT 1030 will certainly work since that is also a 30W card.

If you have something like a 300W power supply in there, then a 1050 would be a much better choice. An RX 460 or 560 would also be much better than a 1030 and probably cost less than a 1050.

From the specs, the RX 460 had some stream processors disabled. Then AMD unlocked those and sold the 460 as the 560, probably because they were getting more stable yields in production. Now they are selling 560s with the stream processors locked again back to 460 original levels.

It was a very sweet deal for a great card!
