Best budget gpu?

I am having a bit of trouble on what to buy, the 7950 was at £200 but has gone up to £220 but I have my eye on the 280x is £238 for 10 fps more in bf4. I was wondering whuch one to get, or should I just forget and wait closer to christmas?

280X out of the two. Waiting may see price go either way.

the 280x is the replacement for the 7970 so it going to be slightly faster then the 7950.
