Best budget meal psu

So im thinking about buying a new psu because psu seems faulty.

So my problem is my computer freezes specially when gaming. Need to reboot for the computer to work again. Keyboard mouse and others freezes up when computer freezes up.
Just changed gpu still problem is there. Difference is my new gpu has less consumption on power compared to my older one. And i observed that it freezes lessen when i changed the gpu. So could it be a psu problem?
Checked hdd ram cpu gpu and temps all good no problem. Reinstalled OS still problem persist. All driver are up to date.

Gpu: palit gtx 750 ti (new)
Cpu: i3-3220
Psu: fps hexa 50 series HE 500w
MB: gigabyte z77m-dh3
Ram: ripjaws X (2x 4gb)
Hdd: western digital 500gb

You can get a Corsair CX500 for $49.99 and it currently has a $20 rebate + a 10% off code. CX definitely isn't Corsair's best but I'd trust Corsair and I've run multiple CX series without any hiccup.
