That CPU is sort of a waist of cash. I would get the 4460 or cough up for a 4690k or Xeon 1231 v3.

I think the best bet is to pay 20 dollars more and get the Xeon 1231 v3 as it is equal to a i7.

The mobos you want to look at are H97 or Z97. The H97 is best with the Xeon or non k 4460. In my view I would get the Xeon with the Z97 one listed in the spoiler tags below.
