Best Budget Overclock Ever?!

I just bought a GT 710 by ASUS that has 2GB of GDDR5 vram. From 954 mhz (stock core clock) I was able to overclock to 1250 mhz! For mem clock I got from 5000 mhz to 5600 mhz. After this overclock, I NEVER experienced anything abnormal apart from extra heat (that I took care of with more fans. I used msi Afterburner for the overclocking. Is this normal?

It's normal but rare. Considering your budget GPU, that's quite the OC. Also, some cards come overclocked from the factory so we can't overclock too much.

that's why its called silicon lottery most cards can go +5 %, some do +15% one in 1000 will do 30% and in good hands might go even more....

I can pull up 1.3V R7 250 at 1250-1300Mhz core and 1000 memory.
From stock 1000 and 800.
But quite a punch on stock voltage on your 710, Good job.

I've seen GT730 overclock easily. Don't recall the exact results but with 75W available from the PCIe slot and not much heat output to start with it makes sense. But it still didn't add up to a GTX750Ti.
