Question Best budget PSU under £40?

I recently bought a used desktop off eBay and it came with a crappy 170W PSU. I am going to add my Rx 460 4gb to the computer and I need a reliable power supply for cheap. I found this AeroCool Integrator 400W Power Supply, 80 Plus, Up to 85% Efficiency, 12 cm Black Fan, For An Entry-Level System - Black https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B071ZY9PRB/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_g6RFCbKDXRX7X on amazon for £26 on offer. Is it any good?

I was actually just reading and I realised that my PSU i have in my PC now is junk (EVGA 600W 80+) Should I put that into the system and buy myself a CX650M?

Yup, this is what you want to be looking at. Five-year warranty and should last even longer than that. This is one of the standard budget recommendations.

That would probabaly be the better bet, as that way you'd end up with a better power supply in your main computer.

So far it has been great but where it is on all of the PSU lists scare me, but as I plan to overclock it is probably a better idea right? It still has like 1 year or 2 on the warranty and it's 600w so should be fine right

It's not a fire hazard or anything, but I'm not a fan of those entry-level PSUs that EVGA just lets hec cut corners on.

I certainly wouldn't overclock with a hec-made EVGA.

The corsair you see sounds good...
The first sentence says nothing.
You'll want to find an efficient model with good parts inside.
The modularity of it doesn't matter.
