Question Best Budget Ram for MSI B350i Pro AC Motherboard

Hi All, I am putting together a new PC and have a MSI B350i Pro AC motherboard and a AMD Ryzen 5 1400 CPU both bought on an auction website, no not that one !! for the two I paid £82, I have a case with 500W PSU already in and working and intend temporarily to use a ASUS Radeon R5 230 2GB DDR3 card in it until I can afford something better, as I am retired on a fixed income.

I need DDR4 ram and as the bird as only two memory sockets I feel I would like to just use one for the time being, money is tight and I have a max outlay of £40.

Can anyone advise me on what I can get for my money?

Is it possible to state the make and model of your PSU? The last thing you want is your budget being the sole reason of getting the system powered off an expensive paperweight PUS to ruin your entire investment.

£40 - is not a good max limit. Either get a few £ more or be stuck with 4GB module instead of 8GB.

Hi, The PSU came fitted in the case which is a CIT one, it says it is ATX - 500CB Thanks for the info on the memory I am actively looking at increasing my budget and at least getting 16GB.
