thought my proc had died again so decided to buy new mobo-proc. now system is back up and it wasnt a proc failure, but have already bought the replacements so now to decide which setup to keep any thoughts appreciated. old set-up: gigabyte ga-990fxa-ud3, with 4.0 ghz 8-core fx 8350 black , gskill 16gigs ddr3 1866 and evga gtx660 superclocked w/ pcie2.0x16. VS new setup: asus a88x -plus/usb3.1, amd athlon x4 860k 3.7 ghz quad core, gskill 16gigs ddr3 1866 and evga gtx660 superclocked w/pcie 3.0x16. *note* asus board and proc combo support the pcie 3.0 slot of which the gtx 660 is. so in short should i keep the new board and proc and the full pcie 3.0 functionality of my vid card. or send it back and save my $160
