Best Buy for Mobo's

I want to know what a good Mobo would be for a low price that can support the amd Thunderbird 900-1400 or higher?4-5 pci's, agp (of course), blah, blah. I dont have alot of money right now but i want to know about it or else i am going to upgrade my hd first to get a bigger and faster harddrive. Let me know thanks

ECS based on the SiS 735. Got great, great reviews and with the new bios supposed to be very good. Only costs about 60 bucks. Go to Pricewatch, and type in "SiS735" exactly like that with no spaces.

At CDR Express for about $62. You can use either sdram or ddram.

Anyone know if Linux will run on this chipset?

not right now, i mean it will run but not as efficiently since it will use all compatibility mode drivers and other stuff. somewhere somebody will surely write linux drivers for these boards and then you can patch them up.
