It will be interesting to see what the uptake on these will be with the impressive Navi announcement. I’m sure they will still sell out, but I’m guessing quite a few will wait it out to see actual independent reviews on Navi.

I think people will only buy these because the Radeon 6800 will be out of stock. For the extra $80, you get 8GB more ram and better performance, as well as lower power consumption. With smart memory access, that on board GPU ram could actually make an even bigger difference if games start to optimize for it. That'll be AMD's fine wine design taking effect.
