[SOLVED] Best camera for nature photography in the 400-500$ price range

I'm gonna be going to maine this summer and would like to get the best camera for nature photography that I can with 400-500 $. I'm a noob too so some other tips would be much appreciated!

If it were me then I would choose a bridge camera as they have a huge built-in zoom and are fantastic at nature, portraits, Landscape etc, etc. Without a doubt, my number one choice would be the Lumix FZ2000 or the previouse "highly acclaimed" model, the Lumix FZ1000.

Going from my previous Fuji HS10 SuperZoom bridge, to a Fuji X-T1 mirrorless....absolutely no comparison.
While 'good', the HS10 doesn't begin to compare.

A DSLR or mirrorless is absolutely better.
A Canon/Nikon kit can be squeezed into that $500 budget.
