@ King_V: My current card is an old HD 5750 1GB I'm using because my RX 570 4GB died.

@jeremyi_83: That 8GB RX 5500 XT sounds good. Almost too good to be true.@

@ jay32267: Do you know where I can get that GTX 1660 for under $200? And how does it compare to the RX 5500 XT?

To all: Is the RX 5500 and RX 5500 XT the same card? Why do I see both referenced?

I think the 5500 without XT is supposed to be slightly downclocked, and an OEM-only part.

Take a look here:

RX 570, sorted by price, in the US. The RX570 may not be the best card for 1080p - but the lower priced ones, new with warranty, are REALLY hard to beat, price/performance-wise.

What resolution/refresh are you playing at?

Now, if you do want something with the best performance you can get for $200 or less, this GTX 1660 would be it:

Now, that is after a $20 instant rebate, and a $20 mail in rebate, so it's $219.99 plus tax up front.

Great prices for the RX 570, for sure. But since my last one was a RX 570, I'd fee like "cheated" myself if I paid out even that for an exact replacement of the same card... lol.

Yeah, $200 is pushing it already for me. I better stay with the above mentioned RX 5500 XT at $190. Rebates take too long. I've never gotten one in less than 8 weeks, and it's always a debit card.
