Best card to buy

Very standard question:
I'm planning on buying one of the R9 Series cards in a couple of months and i'm wondering which one would be the best one to buy considering my specs and if not, what other card i should buy instead. The price range is around 0-300 euro's.
Specs:
AMD Phenom II X6 1090T BE 3.2Ghz
12G Ram
AMD Radeon 6870 1GB(will probably sell for like €50)
Asus Crosshair IV Formula
Win 7 64-bit
650W PSU Cooler master. (don't know the exact model, not on my own pc right now)

R9 280X for that budget, what resolution do you game on and how many screens?

The R9-290 would be ideal because in a few months there will be non reference cards available with better cooling, and 650W should be more than enough to power it.

However your CPU might bottleneck it and if you are only gaming on a single 1080p screen, than a R9 280X is more than enough.

Thanks, I just game on a single 1080p screen(AOC 2236swa) Then i'll probably go for the 280x.

Good choice, in terms of specific models the Asus Direct CU Top is getting the best reviews for having a good cooler with a mild overclock. Sapphire is also a good brand.
