For roughly $200 US the best GPU you could get would be the GTX560 or the 6870.The 6870 being the cheapest but it's just as powerful as the GTX560.

What are your full system specs?(CPU,RAM,etc.)

What is the make/model of your PSU?

My main purpose for purchasing this card is gaming.....
RAM is 2.50 GB(DDR 2)
Intel(R) Pentium(R) D CPU 3 GHz
PSU 450
Expansion Slots 1 x PCI Express x16 slot
1 x PCI Express x1 slot
2 x PCI slots

I would reccomend going with a 6670/6770.Anything more than that it's likely that it will get bottleneck by your CPU.Also you will probably have to upgrade your PSU.

How many amps are on the +12/v rail(s) of your 450watt PSU?

Honestly I would say go for the 6850 but I doubt the processor is gonna be able to keep up with it.Instead go for the 6770.You should have a minimal bottleneck with that card.

Also 6770 suggests 75W 6-pin PCI Express® power connectors but my motherboardhas only one 4-pin ATX 12 v power connector....

The power connector suggested comes directly from the PSU not the motherboard.

Also there is a 4-pin connector in my PSU.......Also earlier i was reading about 6 pin adapter cable which can be connected to 4 pin connector and hence will work as a 6 pin connector...... will i get this with the card or else i'll have to buy it...
