[SOLVED] Best case for airflow with MSI X570s Tomahawk and Noctua NH-D15 chromax black

Hi,

Can you please provide me ATX full/middle towers for best airflow. My build will be MSI X570s Tomahawk and Noctua NH-D15 chromax black and an EVGA 3080 FTW3 Ultra. I really like the ones with 2x200mm ARGB fans.

Also I will be using G.SKILL Trident Z Neo Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3600 (PC4 28800) Desktop Memory Model F4-3600C14D-16GTZNB. Looks like I may have to raise the second fan of the cooler, due to the RAM clearance being not enough. I guess it would be better to buy a Full ATX Case. What do you think people?

Thanks for the reply. Seems like Lian Li Lancool 215 has a CPU Fan Clearance of 166mm, which seems like it is not enough. RAM Clearance for Noctua is 32mm. However G.SKILL Trident Z Neo has 44mm height. So, if I raise the second fan by 12mm, barely it will fit. That means Noctua requires at least 160mm, plus the 12mm raise of the second fan equals at least of 172mm CPU Fan Clearance, which is bigger than the CPU Clearance of Lancool 215.

Other cases that you suggested though seems to have adequate clearance.

I'm about to receive a Lian Li Lancool 2 Performance for my new rig so I'll let you know if it's any good

Why not opt for the NH-D15s?
It is a high compatibility version of the NH-D15.
It will clear tall ram as well as being offset to clear braphics cards if the pcie slot is too close.

On cases, I like those with 200mm front intakes.
They move a lot of air quietly.

So I made a bit of change. I canceled my GSKILL ram order and purchased Corsair Vengeance LPX. This ram has low clearance and apparently, I fits perfectly under Noctua NH-D15. But thank you for your reply!
