Best case for First Timers?

Solution
get a case bigger than you need. extra room will be welcome if this is your first build, more room to work.
unless the monitor is built into the case there is not reason it has to be pretty. you spend all your time staring at the monitor not the case.
do not get a case with a power supply unless it is a proprietary form factor, then I'd suggest staying away. first build and all. stick with standards ATX/ITX/EATX etc makes replacement parts easier to find
to really answer your question I'd need to know much more about your needs from the PC, will you need 3 DVD drive bays, which motherboard form factor, etc.
without knowing more all I can do is give buying advise.
use this list when deciding on a power supply. spending more on a power...

Take a look at these two:

Corsair 600t. Good 'gaming' case.

Then the Cooler Master Silencio 650. This one is very professional looking, and very quiet.

Both will be pretty easy to use, when setting up your first PC. The main thing I'd see as an issue for you is space.
Which both of these cases have. :)

\\edit: When I say 'gaming' case, I mean it's flashier looking.

use this list when deciding on a power supply. spending more on a power supply is wiser than spending more on a case. get a crappier case but do not skimp on a PSU. get a tier1 or tier 2 and you will be worry free.

The Enermax Clipeus ECA 3212-BL. Trust me :D
It has a good amound of space to work with, and has lots of space for cooling and extra fans. 4 drive bays. It's really good. I know because I use it :)
