So, I thought it would be great if somebody could list some highly-rated computer cases that would fit the Gigabyte G1 GTX 970. It measures 16" long. Most full ATX cases on Newegg only guarantee space for a 13" card at most. So basically, which cases do you think would have the least trouble with installation, and without interfering with the hard drive bay too much?

You can go to PCPartPicker, find cases, and they will display the maximum length of video cards that would fit with mid-drive cage and without.

For example the Fractal Design R4: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/fractal-design-case-fdcadefr4blo
You'll see:

Maximum Video Card Length

11.61" (295mm) With Drive Cages
16.93" (430mm) Without Drive Cages

The length of your card according to the Reddit chart is 312mm

Thank you, that's a helpful spec that newegg doesn't usually list.

Yeah I thought that was a bit odd.

This model is listed at that size: www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125685

But the one I bought is listed at 16": www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125684

There's no difference other than a back plate and clock speeds, so one should not be longer than the other.
