Hey guys, need some help. Building a cheap computer for a buddies little brother.

He has a E6300, and I would like to overclock it. We are on a tight budget. I'm just not sure on what Motherboard to get.

No SLI needed. No onboard video needed.

Any suggestions would be wonderful!

Thankyou in advanced.

I would go for the biostar 965. Best budget board imho. Beats some of the midrange too. Also no need for drivers to get the IDE channel working.

Thanks for the replies so far guys, I really appreciate it. I'm checking out your recommendations as we speak. I'm not going to do any massive overclocking, probably try to set it at about 2.6-2.8Ghz with the intel heatsink/fan. I know this is not the greatest heatsink/fan, but I've heard it will do the job fine for someone on a budget.

Is it ok to leave it set at 2.6-2.8 24 hours/day? I will make sure to have good airflow throughout the case. I know having a decent powersupply helps with stablility too.
