I have spen £360 on the cpu and x470 motherboard my budgets around 600-700 including a 144hz monitor I have to get aswell as a 1tb of storage and power supply

If your system can be powered on a good quality 450W PSU and you don't mind going down to a 2700 then you can get everything almost right within your budget.

The difference between the 2700 & 2700X is pretty minimal.

Just one question. Why would you get the best 8 core CPU amd makes and cripple it with only 8gb of ram? I've got a ryzen 1600, and I'd love to upgrade from 8gb to 16. More games are starting to get to where they are pushing up against that 8gb, so might be something to consider. What are you doing with the PC? If only gaming, consider the 2600x to save a little cash.
