Best Cheapest 600w~ w/ 6pin+8pin PCI-E PSU?

Hey,

I'm buying a new video card that requires a 6pin+8pin PCI-E and a minimum wattage requirement of 400w. (Gigabyte GTX 960 4GB)

I've looked around everywhere and done my research, but I can't find a power supply that has a 6pin and an 8pin connector for a graphics card; I came here for your help. What's the best and cheapest power supply for under 40GBP (i can over my budget by very little if needed) that can suit my requirements?

I'm in the States, so that's about $60US. For a quality PSU for under 40GBP and 600W your options are slim to none. This is a good 520W Seasonic that I have running a backup gaming PC. It has 1x6+2 pin and 1x6 pin PCI-E connectors.

And if you want to risk going with Thermaltake, this 600W is available with two full 8-pin PCI-E connectors for $60US (not sure what it is in the UK). I'm mostly sold on Seasonic, Corsair, and EVGA PSUs. Your experience may vary.

The 960 only needs a quality 450W PSU, not a 600W one. Get an XFX ProSeries 450W.

Extremely good quality (It ranks Tier 1 on Tom's Hardware's PSU Tier List), has all the connectors you need and is made by a highly reputed OEM (Seasonic).

Also, don't get the 4GB 960. It is a waste of money. I too was looking at it when buying my 960, but multiple tests have proved that the 128 bit bus of the 960 means that it can't utilise the extra 2GB of vRAM to any great benefit, and generally you will see a ~5 FPS increase with the 4GB model. Indeed, the only game which notes a notable increase in FPS at 1080p is Assassin's Creed Unity; other games start showing substancial differences only at 1440p or 4K, which is not suitable for any 960.
