Hello guys I'm kinda new here on PC building and i recently bought a GPU Zotac Nvidia Geforce GT 730.
I discovered that i cannot play Dota2 in even High Settings like what the seller said. All the games i have is stuttering at 15-23FPs max. i kinda thought that its being bottlenecked by my CPU and i now want to buy a new AMD CPU. the only game i play is Dota2 and nothing more. Can you guys help me by suggesting what to do with this? should i buy a new CPU? or is there other ways to solve this problem?

P.S.
im still a student so i cant afford high end PC part yet, but i just want to play Dota2 on atleast high setting :)

MOBO: gigabyte f2a68hm-s1
Processor: AMD A6-7400K
RAM: 8GB
OS: Win 7 64-bit

pls help guys 🙁 cant play Dota2 with a stuttering fps like that even when i put it to the basic(lowest) setting

1. Yeah, definitely need a better GPU than that. At the very least, you'd want an RX 460, the current eSports/720p pick by Tom's Hardware (http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/best-gpus,4380.html), although if your PSU is iffy you might want to spring for a GTX 1050 (as it doesn't need PCIe power connectors & won't draw as much power).

2. Had trouble finding info on that A10-8750. Technically, I think the A10-7890K might be a better option, as it can be oveclocked, but since he's using a dedicated GPU it would be cheaper to just replace it with the Athlon X4 880K. I know those choices are only a 1-tier improvement (http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/cpu-hierarchy,4312.html), but they would double his core/thread count (which...

daamit. i was right. i was looking for an r7- 240. but the seller said its out of stock so they offered me the gt 730. hmm., what should i do. i am still a student with barely enough money for those kinds of things. also. would the r7-240 coulve worked with the CPU i am using right now? thank you

i dont know but it says 500W max. is that bad? and damn, i wish icouldve got that but would an A-8 suffice sir?

3. I agree, depending on his PSU he should probably consider getting a better one. That would also allow him to get a potentially better GPU, like the RX 470/480 or GTX 1060. With that system, though, I wouldn't go too much above that unless his monitor can get to 1440p or 4K resolutions (again, you would need a quality PSU so that you could go for a high-end GPU anyway).
