I have a very old desktop pc (HP Pavilion Media Center m8200n Desktop PC) and I am trying to upgrade some things, mainly the graphics card, so that i can use it for gaming. But I dont know what things would be compatible with my motherboard.

Motherboard: MCP61PM-HM (Nettle 2)
Processor: 64 X2 5600+
Graphics:Integrated graphics using nVidia GeForce 6150SE

Adding a modern gfx card to an old platform like that is always "iffy". Today's cards are generally UEFI BIOS and sometimes don't play nice with older legacy BIOS motherboards. The GTX 750 Ti would probably be the max card your old, slow dual core would be able to keep up with w/o major bottleneck. But the only one I would feel safe recommending is this MSI because it has a BIOS switch that will allow you to change back to legacy BIOS if it doesn't work on its native UEFI BIOS: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127783&cm_re=msi_750-_-14-127-783-_-Product

No guarantees, however. The other option would be to find the best used card from an earlier era. Maybe a GT 240 or GT 640. But first, what size power...
