Hello guys,

A quick 2 questions:
  • Is there any real benefit of getting DDR4 memory higher than 3000 MHz?
  • Is it beneficial in terms value for money to go for nVidia 2070 Super instead 2070?

Thank yoyu

Is there any real benefit for fast ram?
Not on intel its capped around 3000, going above yelds very low results. If you can get 3600 for 5$ more, go for it, if more, its not worth it.
the OS feels "snappier" but performance wise, it's ALMOST identical.

beneficial in terms value for money ....
it really depends on the offer. the benchmark I see is that non super is ~10% slower. (0.913 to be exact)
so I assume if you pay 10% more or less, its worth it. (remember that you will use more electricity 175 -> 215W. so bills for gaming night will also rise)
