Best Connection

Sorry if this question is in the wrong place but here goes,i just wanted to know what is the best connection to have,i am looking at a new 3d 120htz monitor and most have DVI,DUAL DVI,HDMI and MINI DISPLAY PORT. Could someone please tell me which is best or is going to be more future proof. I will be doing nothing but gaming and surfing the web if that helps.

Any new monitor that at least supports DVI and HDMI will be fine.
