Best cooler for i7 4790k?

Hello I am going to be upgrading my i5 2500k to an i7 4790k soon and I am wondering what cooler I should get to go with it? I have a Corsair A70 currently but I will upgrade to a better one if needed. I might overclock not sure yet.

It all depends on your overclock. I would recommend something from noctua or a corsair h100

Honestly the i7 4790k isn't really worth overclocking... It comes stock with a boost clock of 4.4Ghz (with a good overclock you are looking at best around 4.6-4.8Ghz - hardly worth the effort imo). Your current CPU cooler should be fine.

Have an CM Hyper 212 evo on my i7 4790k. Temperatures in idle and light load between 30 - 40 c. In heavy load never saw that excedes 50 c. It's on stock frequencies.
