best cooler for i7 8700k ?

so i have bought an i7 8700k to upgrade my pc with but up on reading some threads it seems to be a very hot cpu

my budget is limited right now since i have shipped the new motherboard,ram and cpu to my country (companies generally dont shit to georgia so i have to use a third party company to shit it to here which is quite expensive) so because of this i want to buy a cooler locally,

right now my 2 choices are

1.
thermaltake frio

2.
gamaxx 400

right now i don't plan on overclocking but i want to at least be sure that my cpu wont suffocate under a gaming load

Deepcool Gamax 400 is a decent cooler if you are not OCing. I think you should go with that.

If your case's width accommodates the Noctua's 168 mm height, the NH-D15 runs pretty darn reasonably cool with most processors up through 135-150 watts TDP or so...

Most ppl are not 'upgrading' to an i7-8700k, as that needs a 300 series motherboard. Before trying to get that cpu to work, make sure you fit the requirements, you may need to return it.

if he has an 8700K, then he must already have a 300 series board....and DDR4......right? (Surely no one can still think they can drop an 8700K into a Z170 or Z270)

They look at lga1151 and it matches. Pcpartpicker.com separates as it should, but ppl just shopping and relying on salesppl in chain stores half the time really don't know.

I still see posts of ppl wanting to get a new cpu, is the i5-8600k a good upgrade from my old 4690k, but I don't need to buy new ram, I already have 16Gb.
