Best Cooler for X850 XT

im looking for a good cooler for my x850 xt. mine is noisy as heck and does not exactly cool very well. with the fan revved up pretty high at idle and maxxed in game (atitool custom set), i idle at about 50c and max at about 65c, which is IMO, too high.

basically, im looking for a cooler that will drop my temps enough that i can overclock a bit, and also not sound like a wood chipper when im playing a game.

I use the Zalman VF700 (all copper) on my 850 and it works very well. Quiet and efficient (52c under load). The 700 with aluminum in it is a good unit too.

Yeah the Artic Cooling Silencer Rev. 2 is a great cooler. I have used the same brand with the Silencer Rev. 3 for my 7800GTX and it works a lot better than the stock cooling. It's very quite, very effecient and cools really well and exhaust the hot air out to the back and out of the case.

Make sure to measure up your pc deminsions as this cooler is huge and takes up space. Other than that it's a very nice cooler and worth buying.
