I need to get a new cooler now as my deepcool alta 7 gave me 98c even after testing a lot and eventually i sold it on ebay with my old i3 which i bought for. I had created a post few weeks earlier and had found an hyper 212 evo at rs 1800 on respawn.in but i found out that the site is not https secure and i was not able to find cod option in payment while their site says in the top.

I need a decent cooler that will keep my cpu cooler and ambient temps 20-30 throughout the year and 20-40c in summers. Can anyone suggest me a cooler at that price? I know that hyper 212 evo is the best but i can't take risk as their forums page and live chat page doesn't even exist while they have made links to.

Hyper 212 evo

Why does it need to stay so cool? Even the stock cooler works fine and shouldn't get anywhere near 98c, mine got to low 70's at full load with the stock cooler.

Any aftermarket tower cooler similar to the hyper 212 evo or even the hyper 103 should be fine, I really don't understand why your old one was so bad but looking at images it looks much the same as a stock cooler so maybe it was just too small.

Well, my old cooler worked fine with i3, i bought it when my cousin threw it some where when my mobo had blasted. I have tried this cooler on my i5 by replacing thermal paste and trying diff application method. I have tried 2 thermal paste till now which i had. i even tried if there is a airflow issue by using a table fan over the mobo.
:bounce:

I know any of hyper would work but i want to go for the best in my price because i may upgrade my pc in future or get a new one then i can use the cooler in the new one maybe.

I would just get the Antec A40 because it's got a bigger metal frame with more surface area for better cooling :)

. Just not here at Tom's

Anyways You purchased a $30 cooler. Let's not split hairs. It hovers around that price here in the States.

You are now looking for an upgrade but you want to pay an identical price. If I want to upgrade any component in my PC I know I will have to invest more than what I did on the last part. That's why I am suggesting you look to the Cryorig H7.

Apart from that the 212 is capable of fulfilling your goals. I have an extra fan on my 212 and 5 fans on my case. All of it configured to pull air from the front and push it to the back. Top fans on slow exhaust.

What if you saved for twice as long as opposed to getting it when you want? The 212 can do what you want but the ambient temperature will affect any cooler.
