Best CPU cooler for i5-8600k and mATX

I am looking for a CPU cooler for my i5-8600k which I might overclock with in the future, but not extremely. It would be great if it was compatible with the mATX case NZXT H400i, which has a clearance of 164mm for the cooler, and I would like to have a little space for airflow.

You didn't give a budget. I have two recommendations for you. There are many other cheaper ones if these don't fit your budget.

You can get a liquide cooler becouse of the CPU you have ( it is a good cpu which you want to keep cool)

The NH-D15S will fit in your case, it only needs 160mm of clearance.

I mean I have a budget of $50 for the cooler. Sorry if that was confusing, I am having a lot of trouble picking out a cooler, and you have been a great help.

Oh okay. For some reason the Cryorig H5 is marked up in price. It was $46 for a long time. Even the cheaper ($35) H7 is unavailable.

That leads me to another brand that is good at cooling for a low cost, Scythe.

Hmmm... I think I will go with the Scythe Mugen 5 if it can handle the CPU and fit inside my case with no RAM interference. Thank you for the suggestions, they really helped a lot!
