Best CPU cooler for under $50

So I have been looking to get a cpu cooler that is quiter and more efficient than the stock that i currently have.

That is a very good one for you, but if you don't like the ugliness of it, you can get the one and only popular and cheap hyper 212 for only $28 😀

lol, yeah, ugliest thing I've ever seen for computers 😀

A cryorig h5 will cool better than the 212 evo for under $50. So will the scythe kotetsu. If your case is big enough, a thermalright true spirit 140 power tends to beat out the noctua nh-d14 for around $50. I think it's 170mm tall though and most of the bigger air coolers are around 160mm.

Noctua do make some nice quality fans, I'll give them that. But agreed, their color scheme while original and easily identifiable looks like something homegrown from mother earth news. Not my fave color scheme either.
