I'm going to be OC-ing my 45670k somewhere around 4 to 4.5ghz and I want a cool looking cpu cooler. I was originally planning on going with an h100i but then i've heard so much about how bad the fans are and how loud they are. what are some good brand cpu coolers? maybe if I don't fine one that suits my needs I'll get an h100i hope that the fractal design r4 block the sound of the fans or hope that they won't give me problems and then down the line get some replacement fans.

Well just about any air cooler is going to be big and bulky sadly. But here are some choices

1. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835608018

2. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835608014

3.http://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-Hyper-212-RR-212E-20PK-R2/dp/B005O65JXI

The last one is a option but not one i would go with. I just built one with it and after 5 min of prime95 on a core i7-4770K @ 4.3GHZ it was at 71c. I know thats still relatively cool but still a little too hot for my tastes,

there's one that looks very steampunk-ish

is it any good? i've seen several others that look somewhat "cool" looking. this one sort of appeals to me.
thanks for the help also, I appreciate it

I dont have any experience with that cooler but it does fit your socket and looks like it will do very well. I did a little research on it and the few reviews that i found on it say its really good. Some were even saying that its on par or better than the Noctua NH-D14.
