Im looking for the best CPU cooler for overclocking the Q6600.I have search for sometime now.But haven't found any article comparing those 3/4 together. As different website they use different CPU and clock speed so I can't really compare those 4 together. So would anyone please give any actual test result or recommendation!!!And i have just read the Cooler article on this website and saw the Thermalright IXF-14 performance the best. But the Scythe Infinity can run in Quad Fan configuration.will that be more powerful then the other 2 Thermalright running in Dual Fan?

The IFX is not that great a performer. Ive seen multiple reviews where a TRUE with 2 high CFM fans beat the IFX with 2 fans. The only time the IFX got ahead was when it had 4 fans (3 on main cooler, one on back) and it was by like 1C but with 4 fans, thats a lot of noise. Not worth it for me

So you say the TRUE is better then the Scythe Infinity?Because you know the Infinity can equipt with 4 fan dual pull and push action.i have seen pretty good review on it but so is TRUE.have you seen the cpu cooler test jus out now on THD?

Out fit the TRUE with 2 x 220cfm fans and life's is noisy as hell. Since it's noisy already, why not add 2 more 220cfm fan on top of the other ones?

lol JK, it probably won't be much better at cooling. I vote for TRUE with 2 fans.

Yes I know the Infinity can have 4 fans, but fans isnt everything. Also with 2 way tunnel, i feel like it will actually not do as much as people think because it wont be a one way flow.

You're right. It'll bring down around 1-3C, that's it. The whole point of it, imo, is the bring the noise level down without sacrificing cooling performance.

so what you suggesting then?because i really have spend very long time search for answer.ok let me put it this way, with 2 low noise fan(since all of them can fit 2 fan)which cooler will be the best on that configuration???

Slip Stream is better.

It's not about the design, it's the Fluid Dynamic Bearings.

Slip Stream uses sleeved bearing, so it doesn't last very long. It also gets much noisier as it ages.

It's a very good, cheap, case fan, but it seems to have poor static pressure.
