Best cpu cput to pair with RX 480 8gb

I was just wondering what cpu i should pair with my rx480 8gb for my
Friends build

Depends on your friend's budget and existing motherboard (if any).

RX 480 would pair nicely with any of the i5 or i7 Kaby Lake / Skylake CPUs.

Sure 7600k is batter but he doesn't give you Full efficiency you need core i7-6700/k to. More FPS (7600k and 6600k can't give you full efficiency with rx 480)

So you are saying 7600k would bottleneck rx 480 lmao. you made my day.
one thing, a 7600k doesn't even bottleneck a gtx 1070.
sure you can go for a i7 6700k or 7700k paired with a rx 480 and that would only make a 5-10 fps of difference as compared to 7600k.
So, yeah if 5 fps matters to you than go for 7700k, but i would rather put my money on 7600k paired with a gtx 1070 rather than 6700k or 7700k paired with a rx 480. Put your money wisely.
