[SOLVED] Best cpu fan / water cooler for my system.

Hi there, out of curiosity im wondering what the best type of cooler for my system would be. Ive tried looking on the web and i just dont know if theres compatibility issues or anything here rather ask someone who knows.

CPU: i5 6600k 4.7ghz overclocked
GPU: MSI 1660 super ventus xs OC
MBO: Asus z170p D3
Current cooler: Cooler master Hyper 212 evo

what the best type of cooler for my system would be.

Tower-type air cooler.

With my i5-6600K (Skylake build, full specs with pics in my sig), i have Arctic Freezer I32 with 2x Corsair ML120 Pro red LED fans in push-pull and i get 26C idle and at most 55C at 100% CPU load (CinebenchR15). But since Freezer I32 is relatively old, there are better CPU coolers out nowadays, e.g Freezer 34 eSports DUO,

Clearance wise, Freezer 34 eSports Duo is same size as your cheap Hyper 212 Evo and it will fit just fine.

But if you want even better cooling performance, then look towards big-sized CPU air coolers, like Be Quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3 or Noctua NH-D15. Though with these big boys, you need to look for your PC case CPU cooler limit + RAM clearance limit since they are big and will overhang over your RAM slots. But they also offer the best cooling performance when it comes to the air coolers.
